Morgan Newsoroff Zapata

Multidisciplinary Artist

Currently finding ground in groundlessness.

The past couple years have been a metamorphism for many of us. During this time, I have focused more and more on reconnecting with Mother Nature through hiking and my own artmaking practice as a way to ground myself. I truly believe that I am on this planet to create & share no matter the medium.

Currently I’ve been exploring jewelry-making, as it’s a small and intimate item that we wear close to our hearts. I am constantly inspired by this little blue planet we inhabit, the friends we make along the way and the spiritual journeys we face. When I’m not in the studio I’m teaching kindergarten learners at a local private school here in Dallas, TX.

I am currently stepping into motherhood and on Maternity Leave so the shop will be closed until further notice, but if you to keep up with my adventures and painting practice follow me on Instagram: @mnz.creations

Love, Morgan

About M.N.Z. Creations Jewelry

The brand was first created in the spring of 2021 as a form of self-care and self-expression within the artist as she aimed to create and design timeless jewelry pieces as a testament to taking care of our creative selves and reconnecting with Mother Nature through working with materials like metals and stones.

“While teaching (especially during the pandemic) my lifeline was not only my husband Carlos, but coming home, listening to an art history podcast while making little earrings. I truly believe those jewelry projects kept me alive and well because while making them all I could imagine were all the beautiful humans who were going to wear them once we could hug each other without masks again. Taking care of yourself after school or work, whether it be sports, art or music is so important. Especially to reconnect with your humanness otherwise what are we doing all this for?”

Jewelry Care

Jewelry Care

SHIPPING

  • For made-to-order pieces, please allow approximately 1-2 weeks for production in addition to shipping time. If you need an order expedited, contact me at mnzcreations@outlook.com and I will try my best to accommodate you.

  • All domestic orders are shipped via USPS Priority Mail with tracking. International orders will be through UPS.

 JEWELRY CARE/ INFO

  • Pieces made from brass age beautifully which I leave uncoated to encourage patina to form over time making brass pieces look like ancient treasures. If you prefer your brass to be shiny, use a small polishing cloth or use steel wool to burnish the surface back to its original shine.

  • All clasps and ear wires are made with either silver-plated or gold-plated metals. If you have allergies email us at mnzcreations@outlook.com so we can accommodate you.

Here are a few suggestions on caring for your pieces:

∆ Store jewelry in a dry place when not wearing.

∆ Avoid unnecessary moisture from oils, lotions, etc.

∆ Jewelry is handmade, but not unbreakable. Please treat with care.
